I bet you didn’t think you’d see these again. But I have a few minutes (with a baby sleeping on my chest), it’s Sunday, so why not some randomness?

My husband and I are finally catching up on America’s Next Top Model. We had to finish the All Star cycle (UGH, I haaaate the winner) before starting the new season, which, I have to say, is totally amusing. We still have like 6 episodes, but we’ve watched a TON of ANTM in the past week. I’m not sure what we’ll watch once we’ve caught up.

My cat is FINALLY coming around me again. He still hates the baby pretty fiercely and mostly only comes up to me when he’s hungry, but a couple of times I’ve gotten snuggles in the middle of the night when I’ve come back to bed after feeding the baby. It’s nice to get some Shmo love, but I’m also trying to let him have his space and deal with the baby on his terms.

We went out for our anniversary tonight, but not to the restaurant we always go to. The place we had our rehearsal dinner at didn’t just close, but it was torn down. So sad. We’ve gone there every year. Since we had a babysitter (my SIL) all lined up, we still went out, but it wasn’t quite the same.

We had soup dumplings for lunch today and then bought, seriously, 40 dollars worth of stuff at a bakery. We are freezing a lot of breads, but yea, it’s hard to imagine why none of my clothes fit anymore.

I’m doing a fair job of keeping up with things around the house while caring for the baby, but I cannot get myself to empty the dishwasher, so there is always a stack of dishes in the sink. So annoying. Okay fine, I’m pretty bad at folding/hanging laundry too. And I haven’t started studying for my board exam. Whatever.

Alright, this one is gonna have to be pretty quick tonight, mostly because I can’t think of anything else to share but also because I either need to put this baby in his bed or he needs to eat and I can’t do either of those while typing. Have a good week, friends.
