Words of Wisdom

Should you ever have a cold, that say, maybe causes you to have a never-ending sore throat and one nostril constantly congested/runny such that that one nostril gets chapped and super painful, do NOT under any circumstances, put chapstick on said chapped nostril until you make sure that it is not MENTHOLATED.

I think I just saw God.

Heh. I’ve made that same mistake. Not pleasant. Want me to come suction you out like we do Sun??

  • Katie:

No, but thanks for offering. I’d rather have the menthol.

What you really need is Lansinoh. It’s nipple cream, found in the baby section, on the aisle with breast pumps and pads. (It’s made from lanolin, but I have no idea where to buy that.) Anyway, it is the best for chapped skin!

So does that mean I shouldn’t use it to soothe my nose after shooting Dr. Pepper out of it from laughing when I read your post?

I hope you and your nose feel better soon.

Sadly, I totally understand your pain.

And don’t laugh about that suction bulb from the hospital. I have used it on myself as a stuffed up pregnant woman and it was sweet relief. Those kids don’t know what they are missing.

Hilarious, luckily I wasn’t drinking Dr. Pepper while reading. Thanks for the advice!
